Start a Business
A Real Small Business, Built Around a Real Small Machine.
50 years ago we started selling mini donuts out of a storefront. Today our customers do it at fairs, in coffee shops, on football Saturdays, and out of their own donut shops. Entry-level setups start at $7,545 — not the $30,000 to $127,000 Google will tell you. No franchise fees. No territory rules. Just your business — with our machine in the middle of it.
The info kit is email only — no phone call required.
What is this, actually?
A small portable machine that makes hot fresh mini donuts — and a business model that's worked for 50 years.
A Lil' Orbits machine fries small ring donuts about the size of a silver dollar, hot off the conveyor. You drop a hopper of batter on top and they fry, flip, and finish themselves — one person can run the whole thing. You take the machine where people already are: a fair, a market, a coffee bar, a sports concourse, your own storefront. People smell them, line up, and pay three to four times what a donut costs to make.
That's it. The rest of this page shows what people actually do with it — and where to go next if any of it sounds like you.
Real People. Real Setups.
We've helped a coffee shop in Ohio, a baseball mom in Tennessee, a couple who chases summer fairs in their RV, and a family that opened a mini donut shop in a strip mall. Here are some of the folks we work with — in their own words.

Make It Yours.
It's still just dough, hot oil, and whatever you put on top. Cinnamon and sugar will always be the customer favorite — but our operators have built whole signature menus around maple bacon, churro, ice-cream sandwiches, even seasonal pumpkin spice. Your toppings, your pricing, your brand.

Pick a Direction That Fits Where You Are.
You don't have to know what you want yet. But if you do, one of these three is your fastest path to a real answer.
Pick Your Equipment
The three questions that actually pick the machine:
- Where will you run it — outdoor, indoor, or in a truck?
- Power — electric available, or gas-fired only?
- Volume — 1,200 or 2,400 donuts an hour?
Get the Straight Answers
The questions everyone asks — answered honestly, with real numbers:
- What it really costs to start
- What you'll actually make per event
- Permits & rules, in plain English
